WALT DISNEY WORLD
Okay fellow fun seekers, buckle up! This month Lifuchi jets off to Orlando, Florida to have a thrill of a time at the world famous Walt Disney World. This theme park receives an estimated 250 million visitors from all over the world, each year. Mmmmh….. Well, join us as we take a tour through this theme park and discover what it is that attracts so many people from different corners of the globe.

MAGIC KINGDOM
The Magic Kingdom is exactly that. A kingdom in which magic comes to life. A place where all the fairy tale characters come to life and there are magical attractions at every corner. The kingdom is divided into five magical lands consisting of Adventureland, Fantasyland, Frontierland, Liberty Square and Tomorrowland.

Fantasyland is the home of Cinderella and as you tour through the castle standing at a spectacular 180 feet, you will see murals displayed on the wall which in essence tell the story of Cinderella. A must in this castle is the breakfast which is hosted by guess who? Yes, the princess herself, the fairy godmother and other Disney celebs like Peter Pan and Jasmine. Absolutely fabulous! Tomorrowland is a view into the future from Disney’s perspective and has some interesting attractions like the Space Mountain thrill ride, a must, and there are some cool places to grab a bite like The Lunching Pad. This land also has some fantastic stores to buy souvenirs of Disneyland.

Frontierland has a ride called The Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and if you find yourself in Frontierland, be sure to take a ride on this railroad. Queues are very long for this ride so the best time to catch one is during events and shows or parades. A must for the Kids is Tom Sawyer Island, with it’s big water wheel, pines and oaks, the little adventurers are sure to be fascinated by the caves.

This island is accessible only by raft, just by the way. Liberty Square is home of the haunted Mansion and the sound of howling wolves can be heard coming from it. Quite a historical tour can be expected in Liberty Square and dinner guests include Minnie Mouse, Chip and Dale and Goofy. Adventureland as the name suggests is full of adventure from the Magic Carpet of Aladdin to Pirates of the Caribbean.

EPCOT

Two worlds can be found at Epcot. The one celebrates the charisma of 11 nations and is called the World Showcase, the other celebrates today’s world and is called Future World. At the World Showcase you can learn fascinating cultures of the 11 countries showcased and you can sample cuisine and enjoy performances, exhibits, movies or rides that reflect the heritage of each nation. As you tour through this theme park pay a visit to ‘The Land’ where Timon, Pumba and Simba are your hosts and you get to see the Circle Of Life environmental film.

Make a stop at the Living Seas aquarium and is an incredible 5.7 million gallons of water with marine life ranging from dolpines, sharks and sea turtles to stingrays. But what’s a trip to Epcot without experiencing the Soarin’ ride? Answer to that is, try it!

Make sure not to miss the Epcot’s annual Food and Wine festival which takes place September 29 – November 12 2009.

MGM STUDIOS
This tour has an array of attractions ranging from the Backlot tour which takes the visitor on a ‘behind the scenes’ tour of special effects through the Magic Disney Animation to Indiana Jones Epic Stunt spectacular. As if that isn’t enough to get your adrenaline going, there are thrill rides.

The most electrifying ride of these is the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. The next thrilling ride is the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror on Sunset Boulevard. Get intrigued by Disney World the next time you find yourself in Orlando.
